BENEFITS SERVICES MANAGER
Pay range: $ 95,000 - $115,000
HealthTrust seeks an enthusiastic leader to deliver exceptional account support and service to Member Groups and covered individuals through a multi-disciplinary team providing contact center support, account management functions and member relations/marketing for an employee benefits risk pool. The position has primary responsibility for comprehensive account management and timely, accurate phone and electronic support for Member Groups and Covered Individuals with regard to all of the benefits and services provided by HealthTrust. Position also has responsibility for engaging new Member Groups and maintaining relationships with professional associations representing Members and HealthTrust sponsored events.
The position requires broad knowledge of employee benefits including Health, Dental, Life, Long-Term and Short-term Disability, Flexible Spending Accounts, and Health Reimbursement Accounts. The ability to communicate effectively both in writing and orally is essential. Experience with developing and delivering effective presentations is a core requirement of this position and as such, the ideal candidate should be a comfortable and confident public speaker. Expertise in Microsoft Office products, in particular Word and Excel is also required.
Possession of a Bachelor’s degree is required, preferably with a focus on marketing or communications, business or public administration, or a risk management related field. An advanced degree in a similar field is highly desired. Also required is prior work experience of at least five years in a responsible position involving marketing, business, or public administration.
Knowledge or previous experience in public risk pools, health insurance, local government operations and contacts.
