Executive Director

Salary: $190,000 - $240,000

HealthTrust seeks an inspired, collaborative leader with experience in the risk pool industry and medical coverage lines. The ideal candidate will be an experienced leader who excels at identifying, creating and implementing strategic initiatives, facilitating efficient and effective communication with the board of directors, leadership team and teams within the organization.

HealthTrust provides high quality, cost-effective medical, dental, prescription drug, short- and long-term disability and life insurance benefit plans as well as FSA, HRA and COBRA administrative services designed to meet the unique needs of New Hampshire’s public sector employers and employees. As the largest organization in the New Hampshire public sector risk pool management segment, HealthTrust serves more than 350 member groups and 50,000 covered lives. Through partnerships with Anthem and CVS Caremark, HealthTrust offers medical plan options that balance accessibility, personal choice, and affordability through a broad provider network and collaborative partnerships. The Executive Director is the chief executive officer of HealthTrust and is responsible for the overall direction and management of HealthTrust’s risk pool operations and programs.

The general duties of the Executive Director are:

Requirements/Minimum Qualifications: 

Master’s degree in public or business administration, political science, public policy or a closely related field is preferred. 10 years’ experience as a chief executive or administrative officer with expertise in the risk pool industry and medical coverage lines. Knowledge of governmental operations, health care law, and business management practices, including financial and investment management highly desirable.

In lieu of the above, any equivalent combination of training and experience that provides the above referenced knowledge, abilities, and skills may be considered at the discretion of HealthTrust.
