July is National UV Safety Month

Event Date: July 31, 2024

Who doesn’t love the warm weather and being out in the sun in the summertime? Just be sure to be cautious about sun exposure. According to the American Academy of Dermatology Association, preventing damage caused by exposure to the sun’s ultraviolet (UV) rays is an important step in reducing skin cancer risk. It is not only important to wear sunscreen, but you should also seek shade when appropriate and wear sun-protective clothing. Share the resources below with your co-workers to help them protect themselves from harmful UV rays.
